Special Study on Minority-Serving Institutions’ and Minority-Serving Organizations’ Engagement and Minority Participation in the F2F Program

Drawing on reports, evaluation materials, and interviews with experts including former MSI program directors, this brief discusses the background of Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) and Minority Serving Organizations (MSOs) experience with the Farmer to Farmer (F2F) program and ways to increase their participation in the program. After further examination of constraints and opportunities, the report outlines recommendations for enhanced outreach and potential roles and relative strengths of MSIs and MSOs in international volunteer technical assistance programs.
